save file not playing due to load error : number of party_templates in file 261 , exceeds 260
i get the error "load error : number of party_templates in file 261 , exceeds 260" anyway to still play my savefile?

You probably messed up due to manually installing an old nightly patch. Make sure to download and install the latest nightly, or use the Steam version.
