Faction Mechanics / Unique Campaign Start
Armand d'Aquitaine
  • Starts with "Iselda Artrange" (Legendary Grail Damsel) as a LH. She is a powerful spellcaster and can select a total of 6 spells from two lores of magic: light and high. You can prevent her from spawning with MCT.

Folcard de Montfort
  • Iron mines passively generate Steel which can be used to upgrade your units with stronger weapons, shields and armour.
  • Minor settlement garrisons are replaced by Signal Towers, reducing battle reinforcement time and increasing battle reinforcement range in the region.

Hagen de Gisoreux
  • Starts with a defensive alliance with Couronne.
  • Can spend chivalry to summon Bretonnian Knight units.

Tancred II de Quenelles
  • Assemble the Companions de Quenelles and follow their story by completing unique quests, allowing you to unlock 3 different legendary heroes: Calard de Garamont, Jerrod d'Asareux and Fastric Skylance.

  • ending the turn in a region with a tavern or wine building will grant psyImmune for Theodoric and a small morale buff for his army for 5 turns.
  • Theodoric has a small chance to remove a negative trait by ending the turn in a region with a tavern or wine building.
