First off, thank you for your suggestions.
While I like your idea regarding torpedos, the LCS is not configured for ASW (anti-submarine warfare). In matter of fact, in real life the LCS was forbidden from hunting subs due to the turbines causing too much noice and vibration, resulting in the deafening of the sonar.
But I digress… Right now, when the ship has enough room for a lethality upgrade, the first system on the list right now is a VLS.
As for your idea to make the CIWS fully autonomous, while I would love to have that, I’m limited to the capabilities of Jarrmarine’s Weapon Systems. Unless they develop an Automatic Defense System connected to the IFF/Datalink System, I’m putting this idea on ice.
Finally, the helicopter idea. I’ve already tested some helicopters for AirOps compatibility. This proves to be a challenge because not only must they be stable enough to conduct SAR & combat operations, they must indeed also fit into the hangar. I’m also thinking on what would be the most optimised idea on how to stabely maneuver such equipment on deck. While I do have some ideas for that. We’ll have to see what the future brings once a helicopter has been selected/developed.

I totally agree with you, and I wish I could realistically find the room to put in more cells. However, unless I decide to upgrade the LCS to the conceptual Multi-Mission Surface Combatant, which requires me to overhaul the superstructure, we'll have to do with 4 cells total.
I could however, indulge your request to change the default loadout to a 2 x 6, but I want to hear the opinion of the rest of the community as well. I'll see if I can put up a poll.
