LCS Operation Manual
SHIP OPERATIONS
  1. Access the Bridge and locate the Readiness Control Officer (RCO) control station, which is the station between the X/O and C/O.
  2. Turn on the Main Systems by flipping the 'INIT SYS' switch located right of the keypad.
  3. Monitor the Engine's RPM. The engines should engage automaticly beyond 30 RPM.
  4. Use the RCO's Multifunctional Display Monitors (MFDs) to access the ship's status pages, as well as the ship's Lighting Control pages.
  5. Use the MFD and set the lights as required.
  6. Locate the seat of the Junior Officer of the Deck (JOOD). This is the helm.
  7. Depress the 'Acnhor Masts' to lower the bow and stern masts.
  8. Depress the 'Clutch'. Warning: You are now in control of propulsion!
  9. Manipulate the throttles to control the waterjets and the ship's RPS.
  10. You are now in control of the ship.
WARFARE OPERATIONS
  1. Access the Combat Infortmation Center, located behind the Bridge on the starboard-side.
  2. Locate and take a seat at the JM/SPG-27 Operator Station. This seat controls the weapon systems.
  3. Use the MFD and access the NN/SSG-1 Targeting Camera (First MFD button on the left).
  4. Set-up as preferred.
  5. Flip the Radar Power switch.
  6. Toggle the AFCS Output Button.
  7. Use the Weapon Control Panel to access the three main weapon systems.
  8. Arm the desired Weapon System and switch the TGTSYS to 1.
  9. Radar Lock a target from the RDR Operator Station or use the NN/SSG-1 Targeting Camera to aim at your target.
  10. Press SPACE to fire the weapon.
