Lord Mazdamundi changes
Hexoatl now starts with the Tablet of the Warrior Technology unlocked.

Hexoatl now starts in Diplomatic Contact with Last Defenders of Xhotl and Sky Cohort of Hexoatl.

Last Defenders of Xhotl and Sky Cohort of Hexoatl now have +20 Diplomatic Relations with Hexoatl.

Hexoatl now has a -2 Turn cooldown to the Rite of Awakening.

Lord Mazdamundi's unique weapon "Cobra Mace of Mazamundi" now additionally grants him magical attacks.

Lord Mazdamundi's unique banner "Sunburst Standard of Hexoatl"'s "Sunburst Standard of Hexoatl" Passive ability now additionally grants +5% Ward save, but only +5% Missile resistance as well.

Lord Mazdamundi's unique item set bonus "Gifts of the Sun" now additionally grants him +10 minimum Winds of Magic power reserve.

Lord Mazdamundi now has access to the "Plaques of Tepec and Xoloc" Arcane item, available by completing a quest unlocked at Rank 10.

Lord Mazdamundi now has the "Arcane Conduit" Passive ability innately.

Lord Mazdamundi now starts with a Temple Guard of Chotec unit named the Honour Guard of Hexoatl instead of a Temple Guard unit.

Lord Mazdamundi now starts with a Bastiladon (Solar Engine) unit instead of a Bastiladon (Revivification Crystal) unit.

Lord Mazdamundi's innate trait "Venerated" has been renamed to "He That Rides The Horned Beast" and now additionally grants him +400 Barrier, +30 Winds of Magic Power reserve capacity, -60% Miscast base chance & +60 Unit experience gain per turn (Lord's army).

Lord Mazdamundi's Passive ability "Roiling Skies" has now been replaced with "Kindleflame".

Lord Mazdamundi's Spell "Harmonic Convergence" has now been replaced with "Cascading Fire-Cloak".

Lord Mazdamundi's Spell "Apotheosis" has now been replaced with "Earth Blood".

Lord Mazdamundi's Spell "Net of Amyntok" has now been replaced with "The Dwellers Below".

Lord Mazdamundi's Spell "Curse of the Midnight Wind" has now been replaced with "Flaming Sword of Rhuin".

Lord Mazdamundi's Spell "Arcane Unforging" has now been replaced with "Fiery Convocation".

Lord Mazdamundi's Spell "Comet of Cassandora" has now been replaced with "Piercing Bolts of Burning".

Lord Mazdamundi's Passive ability "Exorcism" has now been replaced with "Life Bloom".

Lord Mazdamundi's skill "Arcane Convergence" now additionally grants the "Mastery of the Elemental Winds" Attribute.

Lord Mazdamundi's skill "Focus of Mysteries" no longer grants the "Banishment" Bound spell, but instead now grants the "Flame Storm" Bound spell.

Lord Mazdamundi's skill "Higher State of Consciousness" now additionally grants +200 Barrier.

Lord Mazdamundi's skill "Reserves of Eldritch Energy" now additionally grants +3 Geomantic Energy per turn.

Lord Mazdamundi no longer has access to the "Greater Arcane Conduit" skill in his yellow skilltree, but instead now has access to the "Dispel Magic" skill.

Lord Mazdamundi now has access to the skill "Sacred Duty" at Rank 20, granting +20% Upkeep reduction and replacing the "Sacred Duty" Passive ability with the "Eternal Duty" Passive ability for all Temple Guard units (Lord's army).

Lord Mazdamundi now has access to the skill "Mage-Lord" at Rank 22, granting him -25% Cooldown reduction & -15% Winds of Magic Cost reduction to all of his spells.

Lord Mazdamundi now has access to "The Focused Rumination" Discipline skill, available after the "Focus of Mysteries" skill has been unlocked.

Lord Mazdamundi now has access to the unique skill "The Great Purpose" at Rank 10, granting him +12% Speed, +6% Campaign movement range & +15 Diplomatic Relations with all Lizardmen, and +3 Corruption (local province).

Lord Mazdamundi now has access to the unique skill "Honour Guard" at Rank 13 (requiring The Great Purpose), granting -50% Vigour loss, +25% Speed & -5% Upkeep reduction to Temple Guards units (Lord's army).

Lord Mazdamundi now has access to the unique skill "Eldest Mage" at Rank 13 (requiring The Great Purpose), granting him +10% Research rate, +5% Ward save & -25% Cooldown reduction to the "Shield of the Old Ones" Ability, and +1 Control (factionwide).

Lord Mazdamundi now has access to the unique skill "Disciple of Lord Kroak" at Rank 13 (requiring The Great Purpose), granting him +2 Winds of Magic power reserve per turn, +10 Winds of Magic power reserve capacity, and +10% Spell resistance (Lord's army).

Lord Mazdamundi now has access to the unique skill "Mover of Mountains" at Rank 13 (requiring The Great Purpose), granting him +1 Ability usage to the "Ruination of Cities" Ability, Immunity to Mountain Attrition (Lord's army), and -30% campaign movement range for enemy armies (local region).

Lord Mazdamundi now has access to the unique skill "Chotec's Favour" at Rank 17 (requiring 3 of the preceding skills), granting him Flaming attacks & the "Perfect Vigour" Attribute, and +20% Fire resistance (Lord's army).

Lord Mazdamundi now has teeth to better match previous depictions.

Zlaaq is now larger, and his base Mass has increased to 6250 (up from 5500), Hit points to 10300 (up from 10100), Armour to 140 (up from 130) & Charge bonus to 80 (up from 70) as a result of his recent size increase.

Excellent to see the connection made in game mechanics between Mazdamundi and Chotec through fire-based abilities! (I only wish CA knew even half of what you do about the lore).

Love this. Always felt strange that Mazdamundi was a middling spellcaster, when he should be one of if not THE most powerful spellcaster in the Old World.

Love all of these changes, nice to have Mazda not feeling like an old beater (car joke). Honestly, my one complaint - Net of Amyntok into Comet of Cassandora combo was funny and should come back. I have no real argument for this other than holding someone in place and dropping a giant rock on their head is something we should all aspire to. Always fun to give that big of a middle finger to someone.

I don't intend to change Mazdamundi's spell list at present. I'm happy with the theme of him having life and fire-based spells. You can still perform that combination using Skink Priests or Coatl Oracles, both of which can use the Lores of Light and Heavens.

Plus 3 corruption??? I suspect that's a typo and is supposed to say "-3 corruption". Or is Mazdamundi somehow increasing corruption in the province so that he can then root it out, haha.

He is increasing Corruption, technically, since all factions spread some kind. The generic one was called Untainted before WH3, but it was renamed.
