For anyone new to this mod, I originally came up with the idea when I noticed that Assyrian culture was in CK2, but not in EU4, so I decided to mod Assyria into the latter game. The original mod was fun, but I wanted to do more with it, and it eventually expanded into two versions of the mod for two different games. As of the time of posting this, I am currently working on Mesopotamia Reborn for Europa Universalis IV, because I plan to implement things from that version into this version.

For now, I will use this discussion post to keep everyone interested in Meso Reborn EU4 up to date on the mod's progress. The current plan is for it to release with eight unique nation tags: Nineveh and Assyria, Chaldea and Babylonia, Antioch and Aramaea, and Alexandria and Egypt (Coptic), as well as new cultures, christian denominations, and random events surrounding the renaissance of these once-mighty nations. Future updates will include the addition of the Mesopotamian Religion and several playable religious heads, including the Coptic Pope.
