If you find an issue with this mod, please post it here so that I can fix it.


KNOWN ISSUES: The info box graphic for slime queens doesn't function quite right. I have textures made for this graphic but I couldn't figure out how to implement it so it shows the correct colour. If you're able to get this working without breaking the regular graphics, I will implement your fix and give credit.

after the update, I faced the fact that the slimes became unkillable. There were about 20 pieces of the BODY on the floor. and an insane amount of tentacles. The lancer dwarf fell unconscious after several months of fighting. As a result, 10 dwarves, a turkey, a cat and a pig beat the slime all together. But during the fight, a child died, and the armorer, the last thing they did, bit off the tentacles with their teeth.

Can you explain how this fight went in more detail? Was this a slime queen? What weapons were you using? Were the dwarves armored? Did any of them manage to damage the core or did they spend all their time fighting through the fluid?

edit: after some further testing, I can see there's a balance issue. Working on some ideas to bring them back in line.

When ever i make a new world the slimes do not exist. I was wondering why my embark setting that included them didn't have them anymore so i checked the worlds beastiary and the slimes where not created. I double checked that i had the mod installed and its there. twice for some reason as version 0.4 and 0.7, disabling one disables the other so i guess its supposed to be that way.
Any chance to fix the slimes not being created in new worlds?

Try deleting all of the mod files and reinstalling. I just made a dozen new worlds to investigate your issue and they were present every time. This is either a file problem which can be resolved by deleting the files and reinstalling the mod, or it's a mod conflict.

I'll try that. if its a mod conflict I'll let ya know wich one.

edit: yea i had a corrupted download. the double version seemed to have broken it.

Hiya, reposting here in case you miss my comment under the mod proper. The squad was all axedwarves btw.
I had an FB fighting a maiden, both were grinding their stats to becoming almighty, nevertiring gods! I made a backup save and tried to fight them, and while the FB died to 10 fully equipped dwarves, the maiden became an immortal punching bag for them - since dwarves dislike disengaging this has become absolutely bonkers.

I'll try another fix for this as soon as I can. I know why it happens but not quite sure how to solve it.

I've put forward an update to try and address this problem.

The core of this issue revolves around the CE_REGROW_PARTS token. This has been a recurring problem ever since my initial development of this mod. If I were smarter I'm sure there's a better way to implement this but for now you and I suffer through this together.
