Personal Request which will be wanted more than you may know...
Regards and Salutations. First, if you find yourself done with this mod, please transfer it to me, but I am NOT asking for it right now. Just saying, IF for whatever reason, you know?

Primary purpose of creating a discussion post. Dark Elves are one of my favorite factions. I was just playing WH2 because of an option I miss.

The option in question is Dark Elf LLs all getting the Black Ark rather than any other kind of mount and leave the sub lords to vanilla mounts. Ideally, put it into MCT to access and set from game menu before setting up a game to launch.

Alternatively, give Black Arks the ability to walk, camp, and fight as a standalone

Another mod (I hold it for WH2), make a V Counts mod allowing recruitment of V Coast Captains who are able to build the V Coast buildings and units minus RoR. They could as well me offered as Bloodline Lords/Ladies the same to limit their numbers and make then unlockable.

I will also help you clean up any dirty lines for compatibility purposes if you like. I just dont have time like I need to learn all this over for WH3 any time soon.

YES, I agree. The comparison would allow me to see how to do the others or figure out how to faction wide change.

What I have managed is not published. Using abandoned mods and pieces of abandoned mods, plus my own additions, I have a working black ark faction wide mod for all leaders. However, there is only one catch, there is no encamp on land, black ark expansion and recruitment only works while garrisoning a settlement or upon the water.

Have a version adding Global Recruitment as well, but again, while on land and not in a settlement, there is no encamp to access and I CANNOT get an encampment to show up or be added no matter what direction I try.

PLEASE NOTICE THE ORIGINAL POST DATE! Two years and almost 2 months I have beat myself up over this! Your mod does everything perfectly if ONLY it were global. Even tried a land walking admiral which I cannot get to work. Restricted to Legendary Lords is even ok.

No matter lore friendly or not, Black Arks make absolutely no sense as they are used. If armies were required to load up to cross water, that would be one thing, but as they are, they serve no real purpose. Not to mention, why would a lord, especially a legendary lord, use second rate transportation?

I only need to figure out this part before I can balance it back in.

OPTIONAL suggested variants of how this might go...

1. make a mirror for another lord so we have the comparison to find the specific things needing changed.
2. tell us specifically what needs to be changed to change the recipient of this mount
3. let's hook up and make something bigger and better.

My goal... Make at least Legendary Lords Black Arks as mounts including global recruitment and land encamp as well as at sea dreadnought expansion. Prefer this for all Dark Elf lords. Next is interrupt the associated rite and add in a dilemma script with choices from free to expensive spawning an Admiral with an associated army and building level based upon the rank of the faction leader instead of becoming available to recruit. Considering putting a lifespan on the admiral as well.

Everyone is so sure CA is going to change the Dark Elves, there are not many DE mods.
