I have the mana shield shaft equiped in one of my accessory slots but don't feel like it's working as intended can someone explain to me? I had imagined that when I would take damage I would see my mana deplete slightly from the affect. Since it says that it negates some percentage of damage for the cost of my mana points instead. But I don't see my mana points being deducted when getting attacked or a difference in my damage being taken.
