On the Geoscape, particularly when I tab between vehicles, there is a huge amount of lag -- like multiple seconds of frozen screen before the new vehicle is centered on the camera. The game becomes utterly unplayable when this starts, which seems to be after only maybe 1/4 to 1/3 of the world is visible.

I have brand new, powerful computer, so hardware shouldn't be the problem. Any tips on improving performance??
