I started a new game about two days before this released to the full version.

Should I just restart? I'm not very far into my game, only my second base activated, but I have no idea what kind of issues may arise from an update happening mid-game.

Don't restart and expect no issues at all, 1.0 is fully compatible with Open Beta saves.
