Worth buy missing DLCs to play this mod?
Sorry if this has been asked already and I understand it's subjective but (there are a lot of threads and posts)..

I got the game way back, I backed the game at the beginning of development (got one of the media packs - book etc) and the first 4 dlcs.

I played though the game and although I enjoyed it, the final mission put me off more than 2 play thoughs (even with mods - this was via epic).

So my question is, is it worth me buying the dlcs I am missing (I think it's three) to play this mod?

I’ve clocked several thousand hours in Vanilla (Epic and Steam. Yes, I have bought the game twice) and several thousand hours in TFTV. My verdict about bang for the buck: YES!
TFTV has fixed numerous Vanilla bugs, has added lots of QoL improvements, has rebalanced things in a sensible way. Re TFTV’s final mission: it is quite different to the Vanilla version although in the grand scale it is the same: defeat the YE (the map is the same but with a twist).
