on turn 1 simply abandon Sartosa,
move aranessa to the back of the island near the city
delete undead units if you like
encamp
the ai army will attack you
retreat (you should move into the settlement that you havent technically abandoned yet and be safe)
next turn retake Sartosa,
all is fine :)
