I have the same problem. I am using the latest version of the game with this mod and when I play with, for example, 1200 vs 540 the battle starts with 500 troops on both sides, regardless of the amount of troops you have, which shouldn't happen. After a while the rest of the troops on both sides spawn, however, it's almost useless to fight an enemy with better troops even if they are vastly outnumbered, because the numbers will be the same and you will lose.

I don't know if this depends on an option but as far as I know it doesn't. PLS tell me if i am doing something wrong.

Update: Today i fought 49 sturgians with 1068 troops....the max troops in battle should be 1000. Also, I have noticed that this issue only applies to armies with more than 500 troops on both sides, which means you can play a battle 700 vs 30 and still play with 700 troops in battle. Hope i made it clear.

Update: Today i found an army of sturgians with 472 troops and no more parties around. I was leading an army with 1032 troops, again with no more parties around, and when i got into battle we were 592 fighting 523....... how is that even possible. There were supposed to be 472 sturgians....not 523.
Apparently a support party was created....why? and how?
