Black backgrounded beams
Enjoyng the mod so far, although i noticed that my beams and item's glow have a black background on the side where the texture part should be fully transparent. Is there a way to fix this?

I'm using Brom's "50 essential mods for Calamity" modpack https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3301548568

So sorry for leaving this unanswered for so long, I literally did not notice it until now. I believe this is a soft incompatibility with a rendering mod, I couldn't tell you which one though. The black background is due to additive blending not being applied, you can try disabling Brighter Beams (which will make the beams use a different texture that does not rely on additive blending) in the config to fix the issue.

I actually forgot about this discussion myself. That's the exact way I figured it out on my own a few days after posting.
