Example:
Ambient Anti-Air zeus module
Function: Place module on AA vehicle, vehicle will shoot at enemy aircraft but not damage it
Reason: make player pilots fear for their life without sniping them out of the sky instantly. serves for immersive "hot LZ insertions" f.e.

The "tracers" vanilla-module does just that, is there a specific reason you dont want to use it?
The main difference is, that the shooting vehicle of the tracers module is invisible.

Have you thought about adding 3den modules for mission makers? Not sure how hard that transition is as I suck with scripts but I would have a lot more uses for it in that case.

Yes i have. Its quite some effort, and i am not sure how much functionality i can bring over.
I might add eden modules at some point, but not in the near future.

Yeah, but I want it to be firing up in the air if I want it as an objective to be taken out by ground players, also the tracers sound like normal gunfire, so I don't think it would be interpreted as flak

You could set up a normal ambient-AA gun and then have an enemy plane just circle the area, if you dont want to wait for the feature.

Hello, i second the idea of having a AA flak module where an AAA unit would just fire randomly in the air (and optionally give them infinite ammo and disable targeting anything else).

This would be very useful for atmosphere and also in cases where the mission objective is to destroy active enemy AA in a war zone without having to actually spawn aircraft for it to target.

Ambient Civilian life? They walk around, maybe even have like, items generate within the area where they interact, like civvie mechanics going over to work on a car, or like civvies talking in the street
combat starts, and they run away from players and de-spawn away from players

A moduloe that add AA-units to drive randomly using the roadnetwork and stay at randomly selected places offloading modded faction aa-units.

It'd be neat to have a dive-bombing attack profile option for the airstrike module, and maybe add some CDLC ordnance to it (using #if __has_include to make it only show up if the CDLCs are loaded). Level bombing with Mk 82s doesn't quite fit WW2 missions, and being able to use SOG napalm bombs would be cool.
Oh, also cluster munitions for the airstrike, cruise missile, and artillery barrage.
