Total War: WARHAMMER III

Total War: WARHAMMER III

SFO: Grimhammer III - UPDATE IN PROGRESS

Dwarfs get a lot of love in SFO
I have played SFO for a long time and can say that dwarfs are the strongest in SFO.
They can have so many things that others cannot.
Unlimited income - thanks to their raiding stance
No cost for buildings or recruitment - thanks to the traits (elfs can have it too)
Free experience - blue skill tree high end
Unlimited special resource for forge - thanks to skills of lords
I was able to field 6 elite armies within limitations of special points, have an income of over 20k, having 400 income of the golden resource for the forge and 5000 experience per turn in my province whilst owning just one province.
Not complaining but AI has no chance to pull this off. They never use the raiding stance in their own territories.
Just saying.

If you cheese AI will never have chance. You can do it with all factions. Its up to you how you want to play the game. TW is impossible to not have cheese. Just look on Legend of Total War channel and he will show you how to cheese with every faction.

This has always been an issue to TW series. Can you make dwarfs to use the stances more on their territory? I have never seen them using the growth ones or raiding stances on theirs.

Can someone clarify the statement "unlimited income due to raiding stance" in the OP?

Raiding as Dwarfs increase income in the province by 10%

Okay. That just doesn't fit my definition of unlimited. But thank you!

recruit 40 lords and raid the richest province of yours and you will understand.

Isn't their maintenance about 200-300 each? That's *roughly* 10% of mid to late game province. Then there is the ~1800 cost of recruiting them. Seems like a very, very long term investment.

even if it was 1% freaks will do it
as is its incredibly pointless thing to do as you never need to resort to it in first place
you can have enough income from one province to have two armies with zero lords sitting on it
thats how you can afford to not collect income from karaz a karak for 50 turns to hit t5 faster
cost of keeping and acquiring them aside visual clutter alone would drive you mad

It's not about challenge but about better survivability of the dwarfs who effectively get defeated by turn 40 except the expedition down the south. By turn 20 or so each major orc faction has 120 units rapidly expanding, destroying everything in their path with little opposition and fast replenishment of troops while dwarfs have weaker units, being able to muster lower numbers and much lower replenishment barely hanging on and get defeated with ease by the orcs. I think the last major update made the orcs even stronger than ever before.
In the past SFO dwarfs were getting beaten but were able to hold well over turn 100 even with small territory but now they get walloped easily.
Also the mutinous gits are a joke to be fair. They have huge armies but during waagh they cannot attack while besieged and any faction who besiege them until the waagh is over they simply take their territories due to orcs loosing more than half of their armies during that time.
