(BUG) Freezer & Fridges cannot be upgraded
I've read the most recent updated patch and love the idea of upgrading tiered containers. Quick suggestion would be an option to enforce adjacent tiers so you can't skip from tier 1 to tier 8. Gotta make us work for it!

The fridge "Cooler" doesn't cool stuff and it seems that part of the container isn't defined in the function somewhere. A photo below.

The freezer and fridges does not have an "upgrade" option. So they're stuck at tier 1.

Glad you like the new upgrade system. What I could do is add an option to either have tier jumping or your suggestion, that way people get to choose the "easier" or "harder" way.

All tiered storage are supposed to be "upgradeable" so I must've missed some.

Regarding all containers(the tiles): Currently in B42 there's not much I can do to them until TIS release support for B42 in their modding tools. Sadly I can't fix anything until that happens.

That sounds nice to add an option to let players choose to "force" it or not. But it's also one of those Steve Jobs thing where people don't know what they want until you choose it for them. Either way force or option will work just fine for me! Side note though is that the upgrade items aren't inherently all that difficult to obtain and most stuff I find lacking are wood glue which are craft-able anyways.

In terms of the issue with the fridge containers it's all good brother!

can confirm the "Steel Refrigerator Tier 1" works with the upgrade system. A picture is shown.

All other color refrigerators don't work. So for the meantime if you are a player and found this post. That's your solution!

I have tested what Clam Chowder said and I can say that every Fridge is upgradeable for me *but only* if it facing the way the fridge is in the picture Clam Chowder posted. So with the Fridge Door facing to the bottom left of the screen. Was able to upgrade the Green Fridge, the Blue Fridge and the Steel Fridge.

If I make the Fridges face in any other direction they are *not* upgradable. I can pick them up and put them back in the default direction and it works fine.

Can confirm that the container needs to be at the default angle to have the "upgrade" tab visible. Normally this wouldn't be an issue, but once you have upgraded the container, you're unable to move it. You can't rotate it, or pick it up. I guess it stops being an movable object and instead becomes a permanent fixture. Because you CAN destroy it, just not move it.
