Props floating issue and how to resolve it
First of all, please be aware that this issue is only for players who started using EML before version 0.9.7. If you've just subscribed past EML version1.0.0, you will not experience this issue.

For players that were using EML before version 0.9.7, and you find all props floating or out of view, this situation is similar to the floating tree issue when using Tree Snapping mod. As to why this is happening, is because I implemented a fix for loading assets with prop (e.g. Building assets with props). This was a necessary fix going forward, and I had to bite the bullet going forward with this fix. Alas, it causes the props now to float because prop data that was stored in Building Decoration framework is now loaded correctly.

To overcome this issue, please go to my Github[github.com] and follow the procedure there!
This solution has been tested, but you need a previous game save that has correct position to work.

This kind of issue will no longer occur after version 1.0.0, because I've pretty much resolved all the errors in EML mod

If you could upload 0.9.7 somewhere, an alternate for users still having problems with props would be to switch to 0.9.7, use Move It to select all props on the map then export those to disk, then delete all the props, save, exit to desktop, switch to newer version, load save with no props, then import the props back to their original positions using Move It.

Please check the discussion in my Prop Anarchy. And you can get it at my Github

There may be another solution. without unsubscribing EML; if you go back to a your city which was saved on or around 26-27 December, you won't have any floating / vanishing props, although changes you made from that date till now - obviously - will be lost.

The github link above solved it for me - all my props are back in the correct positions and everything is working great! :D

Sorry, but your instructions are insufficient for me: where exactly can I find this "local mod folder" mentioned in step 3 (and what is it called!)?

It would help if you looked around the Internet with its vast sources of knowledge. One of the fundamentals of looking around the internet is knowledge of typing out what you want to look for. So for your case, you don't know what a "local mod folder" is? So you open up Google search and type in those exact words. Now that would return you with a bunch of unrelated search results, thus your next step is to try and narrow that search, and that can be achieved by further typing "Cities Skylines" in your search. And voila! a result would show up right at the top.
Don't know what folder means? Well, this is going to be long, but a folder is a way to categorize data in computers. Computers themselves don't really need these sort of categorization, but it was invented to help us humans categorize the data, so we can locate them at a later time. Folders were an important invention to enable us humans to locate a piece of data easily and efficiently.
Don't know what Google is? or what Google search is? With the vast amount of data on the Internet, a group of people came together and said that they'd create a method to ease our efforts in searching for a piece of information on the Internet. Think of the Internet as a gold mine, and "Google search" as the metal detector.
One of the greatest traits of a human being is its thirst for more knowledge, and today even more so, as we live in a highly competitive society, with everyone carrying a computer device in their hands, and constant connection to each other, even while they live thousands miles apart. Ask anyone on the street how to make an Apple Pie and their usual first instinct would be to look up the Internet for some sort of recipe.

Ok, lastly, I didn't know how to program Cities Skylines mods half a year ago, so I took up to learning it and also learn C#, as I've never really touched that language before. I did this because I wanted to play the game and do things that were not possible without these mods. I later decided that I'd share this to the community, since I believe there are other people who have the same need as myself. I (modders) don't get a penny from anywhere doing this, and we just want to share so we can make this game better collectively.

Help me help you! We all do this in our free time. I have full time job, kids, family, that the little time left to our own entertainment, I chose to code mods. I do it because I enjoy it, but you can also contribute if you can use some of your time too to look for these information you don't have yet. The time it took for you to type out those words could have been better spent on Google search engine.
