Outpost area will not unload after successful defense

As the title says, after my two outpost residents preemptively attacked a raid in preparation and killed the singular raider, the area did not unload. I waited a day to see if it would go away on its own but it is still loaded.

Had the same problem. Had to pack up the outpost via the Wolrd screen and rebuild it. Dev mode will let you pack up instantly.
Having this issue for the last few days. Any idea what caused it?

Same issue. Only way i found is thought dev tools "Force End Outpost Raid".
Not sure if anyone else still have this problem, but for me the main reason the battle never end is because of the Giddy-up mods. If your enemies ride animals into battle, you also have to kill those animals because sometime they don't flee off the map.
I think the issue is a result from having prisoners that are from the same faction that is raiding your outpost. I've had a number of raids on my mining outpost that wouldn't end unless I knockdown the prisoner.

Could it be because of prison labor?
same. no giddy up. killed the raiders on foot. can't send pawns back to outpost on the same tile after a raid.
