I've a feeling this mod is the cause of an odd bug...
When my scout gets routed, I get multiple notifications of a routed scout and then 5-6 brand new fully trained scouts appear in that city. Perhaps a bit of overkill?

...or at least I assume it's caused by this mod. Reloading the save with this mod now deactivated still resulted in the same thing happening. I'll try again later with a new save...

Hey Iakovosian, thanks for reporting this :-) I have made an improvement now so scouts won't respawn at full strength if defeated.

However, I couldn't replicate the "multiple spawning" that you report. Someone else wrote he had the impression, there were more respawns the more he grew his empire. I tired with multiple cities in my control, but for me it made no difference.

Have you maybe increased gamespeed? This can cause strange behaviour, but I couldn't see any in my game either. Anyway I put in a check for gamespeed now.

If you can descibe in more detail in which circumstances this occurs (which faction, which city, how many cities you've got, native or non-native, etc.), then it may give me another hint for what to watch out.

Now that you mention 'the larger the empire the more the respawns', I think I experienced that too though wasn't certain. I'm sure the first time was about 4-5, and the latest was about 10. Gamespeed and other controls (pop, rec, skill) are all normal 1.0

Playing as the 'Messapii'. Killed Taras, Peuceti, Dauni, fighting Lucani. Scouts are mostly native - definitely happened with native scout respawns, can't remember if any non-native ones died yet. I have about 10 cities I think. Would it be easier to send my savefile somehow?

Mod list is extensive, but simple:
Hernici, Active Diplomacy, Governance, Trade Skills, Improved Razing, Flower of Italy, AEPV, AI Expansion, More AI Invasions, More faction groups, More playable invaders, Farther units, Latin archers, Illyric fleet, Specialists, Fortress, Hunter's lodge, Reworked city upgrades, Reworked brigade upgrades, Long ranged stance, Assault stance, Military drill, Militia stance, Testudo stance, extra general portraits, this bug correction mod, and a few other map/scenario mods that aren't used (even if active) in this savegame.

It happened again :-(
New game, same faction, scout dies and multiple turn up in their home city.

They weren't at full health this time though, so your fix for that worked. But now I can't game the system to get free recruits! :-D

Just to be sure: If you say "scouts" that actually means scouts, not envoys from Active Diplomacy?

And yes, if you'd be able to somehow transfer a savefile, that would be awesome. Googledrive, maybe? (Idk)

Yes, I mean scouts not envoys. When envoys died, only one respawned normally.

Do you know where the savefile would actually be stored? I tried to look it up but can't find my way through all the steam folders!

Thx and yes, mods need to be accurate, orherwise loading the savefile might fail.

Hey, yes I looked into it last weekend and have seen the issue happen. Unfortunately I couldn't find the source of the issue yet. Even when I deactivated the trapped units mod and reloaded the save, it still happened. I'm thinking about how to best proceed with this, there'd no quick & easy solution as far as I can tell - sorry. But I haven't given up yet, either.

Yes - I noticed when deactivating it, it could still happen. I don't know if something is permanently loaded/modified when starting a new game that results in this happening at some point?

Yes, I'm unsure how this works in a save game. I'll need to replicate your game state from scratch with and without the mod. This will take some time though.
