bug with backpacks
when a colonist wears a backpack with a jacket, a section of the backpack graphic disappears like it's clipping with the jacket or something. only happens with certain backpacks

seems to be something weird going on with the webbing as well

Hello mate. Its unfortunately just the way RimWorld renders things. Backpacks were never really a feature for vanilla, and when it is (i.e. shield pack) the texture is fairly small so you don't get to see this often.

This kind of clipping can happen for buildings too, when something like a big texture building goes beyond the grid it occupies, if placed next to a wall or another building, you see this kind of rendering issue.

Rest assured, it's not a bug with my mod. It's just how RimWorld can render things especially if you're using something like Camera+ which exaggerates this upon zoom in.

EDIT:

Just to update, someone has brought to my attention that this only happens with CE. I've seen it happen for Vanilla as well, however it seems not at this scale unless you have CE on.
