encountering trouble with outposts
the starting outpost 80 percent of the time is small and empty with like 3 npcs, and no quest givers, and idk if either thats bad luck or i got the mod loader wrong, only big other mod i have is thallassaphobia revised but doest really mess with outposts, so idk why, moment I turn off dynamic europa the starting area is fine and I have quests, is there a discord for the mod so i can ask for help related to mods and mod order, idk i am kindve at a loss

This might be a mod conflict. If the quest giver is missing, then another mod is adding custom events which are not configured properly which will cause the game to chose either the other mod's events or all vanilla + DE events with a 50/50 chance basically.
Mods basically have to configure their custom events as additive="true" to allow the other required events to still trigger as intended.

Only mod I can possibly think of is maybe thallasaphobia restored but tbh I dont think it possibly has anything quest related but yea ur right every time I find the quest room the npc isnt there only guy I can talk to is the dude offering scrap, also the outpost I usually spawn in also has for some reason a flooding problem, but thats a minor inconvenience, I will keep looking into it as I really like dynamic has to offer.

Ok Im pretty sure its thallasaphobia restored not playing nice with dynamic europa, idk if its a stress to ask for a patch for it, I like the enemy ai work, and so on, I will mess a little bit with the load order to see if i can get it to play nice

nvm it was thalassaphobia causing all the issues I just cut it out and it seems to be the issue

Yeah then that mod has its event sets not configured as "additive" and thus it conflicts with the main event set. The summer game update will allow to force additive event sets to always load so if the author updates the mod to make use of that feature once it is released, then both mods will become compatible.

I was troubleshooting the same issue, and noted that it seems that outposts are messed up even when I'm using thalassophobia restored with standalone pirates ahoy! instead of full DynamicEuropa. I'm wondering if it has something to do with added factions as well?

It's just thalassophobia in general causing vanilla events (mission giver and random outpost events) and modded events to not trigger. The author is aware and is waiting for the game's summer update to drop to update the mod and make it compatible with all other events :steamthumbsup:

Yeah that event is currently broken and will be fixed with the next update. It should hopefully just start working automatically for you once the update is released.
