[WOTC] More Utility Items (v1.2.2)

To change these items, so you have to build them manually is done very easily with the Mod Weapon Skin Replacer.

This is how I did it:

I did remove Scope and Lasersight as that seems really strange with the corresponding Weapon Attachements.

you need the [WOTC] WSR Weapon Skin Replacer - Configuration Mod. And there in the XComWeaponSkinReplacer.ini file you paste this in the file.

i have [WOTC] WSR Weapon Skin Replacer - Configuration Mod and i am using alternative mod launcher but under config i only see XcomEditor.ini, XcomEngine.ini, and Where is the XComWeaponSkinReplacer.ini?

got it figured out. i didn't have that folder for whatever reason so i unsubbed then resubbed now its all good thanks for this btw too clutch

this part hides the scope and the Lasersight.. I saw you asking that in the comments

Hello, how do you figure out the template names? Like, I would like to remove Reaction Speed Training. Looking in localization, I see:
"[MaxUtilSpeed X2WeaponTemplate]
FriendlyName="Reaction Speed Training"
..."
So, my thought was that the template name for Reaction Speed Training is "MaxUtilSpeed". But, looking at the above examples, when I do a search in localization for (e.g.) "ScopeUtil" I get no results. In fact, I can't see ScopeUtil anywhere in the code. Localization has "[MaxUtilScope X2WeaponTemplate]" in localization. I found similar in the source code. Nothing that says anything about "ScopeUtil". I'm quite confused, lol

NEW ITEMS: Aimbot Protocol, Lightweight Exoskeleton, Bulldozer Armor
Added custom UI for Aimbot Protocol, Reaction Speed, Exoskeleton, and Bulldozer Armor
Added unique category restrictions to the items to prevent stacking (this change can be reverted by accessing this mod's XComGameData.ini)
Tweaked item stats across the board
Less wordy Magnetic Deflector description
Adjusted the items' internal naming in the code for better compatibility (this'll break the items if you have an on-going campaign unfortunately)
