'Either Fall, or don't! Pick one!' Falling Moon
So... I've been playing a game with this event happening to my homeworld for... a hundred years now?

I've researched the tech, deployed the orbit stabilizers to the point that they are the only building in any slot save the administration, evacuated the planet to the last pop dozens of times... Built a colossus, cracked the moon... And My homeworld STILL seems to be in a never-ending state of 'falling moon'.

After the event initiated the second phase of its descent (horrible weather and nasty storms), it seems to be stuck in in a state where I get nothing but the doom reports, production improvements, and cults.

Does this event just take a godawfull long time to come to conclusion? Or did the event chain get stuck in an infinite loop? Because I'm getting tired of my empire being trapped in an unending state of suspense. Either come crashing down so I can spend five minutes re-terraforming the world back to its glory, or recover orbit so I can get on with things.

Heck, I'm about ready to research the 'G.L.U.E.' megaproject from Gigastructures, annihilate my homeworld with a planet cracker, and glue it back together again.

Anyone else run into the ever-falling, never impacting moon?
