Oh hi! I missed this post, sorry. Although I think having your character say the object name upon scanning would be a bit intrusive, it'd be possible to do with StarExtensions. I might add an option to show the object name on mouse-over if SE is installed, though I'd have to update my 'Scanner Shows Printability' mod to add a toggle for it as well, and I kinda don't wanna do it, sorry

if you're in singleplayer, you can use `/entityeval object and object.name()` with your cursor over an object to see its name
