Left 4 Dead 2

Left 4 Dead 2

RedemptionII - Part1
Kyle's Review of "Redemption" - 5/5
Highly polished and extremely creative. 5/5 stars.

I've heard good things about Redemption, and it didn't disappoint. This campaign is a must-play -- one of those gems that's polished and player-friendly while simultaneously being inventive and novel.

Redemption is visually gorgeous and easy to navigate from start to finish, and it's long without being a drag. The atmosphere is also superb and the events are varied, but my favorite thing about Redemption is how "new" it feels. Every chapter has something that's new to Left 4 Dead, and the amazing thing is that it all works. Talking NPCs (with subtitles, at least in the finale), goofy melee weapons, spooky laboratories, and a one-of-a-kind finale all work as intended without disrupting the flow.

My only complaints are that Map 1 has too many health items and I didn't fight a single Tank until the finale. However, these are nitpicks in a campaign that does everything else spectacularly. Please play Redemption and keep it installed!
