Description

Redemption takes place midway through the L4D comic strip, it continues the story after the survivors flee the military base they were taken to after blood harvest and that leads to the Sacrifice campaign.

The campaign includes:
* 5 large maps that traverse through a new and revealing HELIX Research environment
* 5 Completley New Melee weapons (They DONT replace any other Melee!!)
* Custom content including textures, models, sounds, particles and ingame animation
* Extensive detail overhaul from the L4D version
* NPC's that add to the unfolding storyline
* New panic events & traps
* Dynamic supplies and paths
* Easter eggs & New final mechanic

It would be nice to include a subtitle for the NPCs whenever they talk, the only time they were finally available was on the final stage. For the bugs, we had an encounter on the train where it wouldn't open and that delayed the rescue. Other than that, totally enjoyed this mode. It peeked our curiosity who we were escorting and I hope there was more of a story that revolves the map unless I didn't hear it on their dialogues. Good game

Just finished it, overall I met 0 game breaking bugs or issues with it, everything functioned as intended. Lore accurate too compared to the comic, personally I find it the perfect bridge campaign between Blood Harvest, The Sacrifice comic to the actual Sacrifice Campaign. It's even bot friendly which is really nice, they were able to path find right to the train car and get in with ease! Only small bug was the canisters vanishing when inserted but thats a visual bug, I was still able to fully complete it without restarting or using cheats or anything like that!

Very good for the most part, with creative storytelling that fits into the main campaign's storyline. However, the finale can be broken if there are common infected blocking the train platform below, which would prevent you from entering the train and finishing the level.
