Ability to sell prisons and hospitals?
It would be sweet if we could get a return on investment for using engineers to capture prisons or hospitals. As it is, once we've captured one, we can't sell them. Not only would it be sweet to have some money back from these, but having them in our base is kind of a hassle as it uses space. I'm on Nod mission 10 or 11 in which I have to recapture a base with a commando and engineers. There's a prison in the base that just stays there until I destroy it. But the mission gives me a third engineer to capture it. It just makes sense to be able to sell the building after capturing it, you know?

In several missions, the Prisons (Technology Centers), Hospitals, and Bio Labs are used as buildings to protect, capture, or destroy for the story telling.

In the mission 11 script, you are recapturing the "Technology Center" (Prison) to gain back the Stealth Tank (Ezekiel’s Wheel) technology that was stolen from you (Nod). You can't win the mission if you don't capture it. If you build the Airstrip before capturing it, you should not be able to build the Stealth Tank until you do. Just like GDI missions where you destroy SAMs to gain access to Airstrike.

If it were up to me, I would have used the Technology Centers as a means to unlock advanced units (like in Red Alert): Mammoth Tank, Stealth Tank, Flame Tank, MLRS, MSS Launcher, etc....

For Nod I would have made the Bio Lab a requirement for Chemical Warrior, then add it as buildable in the last mission so that you could use them.

I would have made Hospitals like the Repair Bay for vehicles, Once could send infantry into the hospital to be healed, Once healed the unit would walk back out of the building.

These are the things I would change if I could. These 3 buildings also don't have official icons for the ingame sidebar either. I was hoping that they would be created / added in.

An alternate idea for Hospitals, that would be probably be easier to implement, would be adding self heal to your infantry if you own / build one.

Ah, thank you for these precisions.

And yeah, I always thought it would be cool if the hospitals could heal units. Maybe only if they are nearby?

Yeah, like a repair bay for infantry. I never understood why that wasn't the case in the original.
