Units to attack from furtherst distance
Currently if unit is ordered to attack it may come too close to the target exposing itself to enemy fire. The idea is to make so that units will always try to attack from the furtherst cell possible . this problem actually existed even in starcraft but got patched eventually. never happened to c&c

I think part of the reason for this is to allow more of your forces to move into range and engage when you're attacking with a group. Would be annoying to have half of your tanks kept out of the fight because their stuck behind your own forces!

It is definitely annoying though when you know you out-range something and your unit throws it's advantage away and just trundles into the enemies range. I guess the ideal would be to have different behaviour when attacking with one unit and with a group, I can't imagine how you'd implement that though.

As I said, this was also present in the early starcraft, so you can see how that kind of fix looks like. Pretty good actually
