Not an answer. CE is an awesome overhaul and makes the game a lot more fun.
Stick to purely vanilla if modding isn't your thing.

This won't work with CE without either mod being patched to do so. That's mainly because CE uses entirely different types of entities for their bullets.

@carrot maybe don't tell people what to do with their own time ♥♥♥♥♥♥.

CE is not compatible with this one, regrettably, as stated. If you use RimPy MM you'll even get a notification stating so, but if you want to use this one, it should be compatible with Yayo's Combat and Combat Update 1.4; these 2 don't add as much as CE does but are much more compatible.

Edit: Just noticed the date of this post. Sorry about necropost ;w;

I'm aware that this is a late response, but at least this mod (Gunplay) is compatible with Yayo's Combat. If you'd like to use this while still having ammos and stuff, maybe try Yayo's? Yayo's is like a far lighter CE with generic ammo types, less specification.

people only hate ce because they are dissapointed its incompat with their favourite mods other than that the only reason i use it is bcuz i hate when i have any level of shooter not be able to hit something when they are literally standing right ontop of it
