Would a "lite" version be possible by any chance?
I feel like a version balanced around the new 1.4 mechanitor would be nice. Something that has less drones and such, or not at all would be great. I want to make a factory to produce stuff like weapons and ammo for CE, but dealing with all the extra stuff in this mod is a bit dizzying for a newcomer.

Most Drones are contained in an Addon, if you don’t want them simply don’t install them.
Above that if you have sufficient SelfControl just don’t use them. Alternatively you may use Cherry Picker to remove the things you don’t like.

I haven't looked at the drone side of it yet (apart from the Drones you get with a grow zone), I'm quite happy with the conveyer system (it looks cool too, seeing every thing wizz round on a carousel/ Also I feel I/O ports are a bit OP so I don't use them, I use pullers instead

Isn't there a lite mode option in the mod config already? I think it's mainly just the rollers that are kept.
