First of all, check this:

If you have a crash, or WeaponCore does not seem to be active (no info readout on the weapon control panel), then I will need the log files!
Grab the log file before restarting SE.

can you post the log files from this session? also let me know any possible detail to recreate it, or even if restarting fixed it. we can't figure out what's causing this and it always seems to just fix itself.

The heavy laser, and i think the others as well, seem to remove armor blocks without deforming armor or anything.

I could not reproduce it again. But here is another bug: Gladius laser seems to be working, in the control panel shows 1 kW of consumption. But the reactor produces almost 80 MW of power, the gladius sucks energy without doing anything! Restart does not help.

I see a lot of problems with particle emitter mod and modular encounters. :/
If you click on the turret and see 1kw, and none of the normal WeaponCore DPS info, then WC did not init on those blocks for some reason.
Will look into it in more detail soon.

I built some blister turrets but they seem like sometimes they aren't firing even though they should, is there a way to see if a turret decides not to fire when I have a target selected, and why it doesn't ?

does it fire and then stop? there is an overheating mechanic, the barrels will go red and also you will see in control panel the heat level.

Ah, overheating, that must be it then, yes it would sometimes fire and sometimes not. I was wondering what it was. It's a shame there is no low profile, non overheating turret :/ I'll check in control panel to see if that's caused by overheating.

Hello there!
For some reason I can't get the gimbal lasers to work at all.
They are all in a group and set up correctly for WC (the octobeam laser or the spicey meatball turret works fine on the same ship for example) but these are not firing at all.
I'm aware of the 45 angle firing range and all, I can see the spawned NPC-s using them (modular encounters + weapon upgrades) but they don't work for me nor stations, neither on ships.

Any ideas what should I try?
We play on my privately hosted DS with friends.

Unsure. Does PDX work? It uses the same laser, just not with limited range of motion. And I assume you have enough power.

I have enough power of course, yes. The PDX also doesn't work, now that you mention it.
I wonder what can interfere with your lasers. :/

Yeah, I surely can. You only need the keen log or is there a weapon core log or something too?

I found these lines in the keen one tho, but I have these kind of errors for some other mods as well, and those are working fine:
