Bugs
Before reporting an issue, try deleting your config. On Windows, this can be found at %USERPROFILE%\AppData\LocalLow\Ludeon Studios\RimWorld by Ludeon Studios\Config\Mod_2010777010_PRMod.xml.

Furthermore, make sure that the mod is up to date (resubscribing helps, Steam is slow to update Workshop items). If you're using local copies with Fluffy's Mod Manager, update those.

Finally, please attach any relevant logs. Failure to do so may result in your comment being deleted.

Please note that this discussion will be periodically cleaned as bugs are fixed.

Hiya, my progress pic is rendering without my animals or pawns for some reason. Guessing it's a mod conflict, any ideas what it could be? Is there something that I'm not doing right in the mod itself?

There's currently a known issue if you have lots and lots of pawns/animals in your map (we're talking into the hundreds). Generally speaking Progress Renderer doesn't conflict with any mods; however, in the interest of completeness, if you could test that map without mods that would be utterly fantastic.
Hmm not hundreds. 10 colonists, 40ish animals I think? And I'll try to tonight but can't promise anything hah, my modlist is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. I do have LOTS of ♥♥♥♥ btw like 30.000 food/veggies and a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of plants. Here's the render I posted to reddit: https://imgur.com/a/zwIXyVW#ZYWF0bL. I wonder if that could be an influence hmm

Hmmm, that should work. Try turning on designations, thing icons, etc. and see if it works then. Beautiful base BTW!
Hello, I'm having issues when rendering the map when I have the prison labor mod

Here are my logs
https://gist.github.com/262c122449912fe9bbeecdc7afe15bf2

PS: I've been having this issue for a while, but my game crashed once because of it so I decided that it is important to report it

Unfortunately there's nothing I can do about that, as it's an issue with Prison Labor (i.e. not caused or triggered by this mod).

I have a save, where loading p.r. without rimsaves works, but with rimsaves will show 'rendering map image' but not actually do it and just carry on with the game. Rimsaves works fine with all my other maps, I always use rimsaves.

AIGHT, A BUNCHA BUGS SHOULD BE FIXED NOW FOLKS
Bug: when viewing the heat map (https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=947972722) the image is rendered with it on as well: https://imgur.com/a/LdlpxND

Not a bug[github.com]
So it is intended? Otherwise it would be one, just noch fixable.

@sauergesicht it is not a bug, just turn off the heatmap before making a render.
I've been having the same issue. It worked at first, then I changed some setttings and was getting the error where the message pops up, the screen gets locked in place but the game not paused and a render is never created.

I played with the settings and setting "smooth render area on change (set smoothing steps)" to a low value (in this case 0) and settings "pixels per cell (for image resolution)" to higher values (41 and above) seem to cause this error.

Playing on large 400x400 map. Modlist: https://pastebin.com/yPTTXpz3

Hmm, interesting. That sounds like running into memory limitations, which has been mentioned in the past. I'll see if I can't find a way around it, or put a warning in the settings if the used memory would be high.
Also encounter the problem of not having pawns and animals rendered, but accidentally I found that it maybe something relates to Camera+. Camera+ stops showing pawns and animals if you zoom out too much, and if you manually render the map now, the result will show no pawns and animals. So I tried for some times and figured out two ways to solve this:
1. When having Camera+, dont zoom out too much. Make sure the map still shows pawns and animals and then press the manually render hotkey.
2. When not having Camera+, Progress Renderer should work fine I think. If not, try zoom in to you pawns or animals and then press the manually render hotkey.
Both ways work fine for me while having 200+ animals and pawns:steamhappy:
