Mod crashes during loading
Hi all!

I have an error when I try to load the mod. I used the launcher with the mod enabled. Everything seems fine until about the 70% loading mark, when an error message appears, showing it can't load an instruction or access a memory location. Any clue as to what this might be? I recently installed a Windows Update, so I'll try restarting my laptop to see if that helps.

Specific error message (I couldn't post the screenshot):

"The instruction at 0x00007FFF22A6564D referenced memory at 0x00000000000000F9. The memory could not be used."

Try running in DX9 mode perhaps?

Thanks! I tried loading the Stellaris launcher > Game Settings > Rendeing to render with Direct X9. But I can't even see the Rendering mode option. My laptop doesn't have a dedicated graphics card; it uses onboard graphics called Intel Iris Xe. So, I'm thinking that is the problem. :(

In Steam you should be able to add a command line option if you right click on the game. Just add

-DX9

Oh wow, that worked! Thanks a lot! :) Haven't started a game yet, but the main menu loaded perfectly. Exciting!

I think the additional graphics weight of the mod can cause issues on dx11 on lower tier hardware (sorry!).

I'll add a note to the main page suggesting people with the same issue try it.
