Sphere Builders Event
I'm entering the earlier stages of what seems to be the Sphere Builders event, with the Expanse starting to envelop systems on my borders, etc. However, there doesn't seem to be any prompt to tell me what I need to do to progress the event chain. I started sending scouts to chart the Delphic Expanse and have had a couple of events fire as part of the survey - but that's happening painfully slowly (the last one popped about 20 years ago now) and my science ships keep getting booted back out so have to start again.

Any ideas on how I can make this progress faster?

It's a bit of a slow burner. I do have a job to finish to make all exploration cluster events not kick you out by default (how it was handled before Situations were added). When I get some time I'll see about adding some more flavour events to the chain to make the early portion less empty.

Question about this event chain, I am at the point where I need to send fleets in to destroy the spheres and 1 of 2 things will happen.

1. I send in fleets of 1 million power and destroy 1 to 3 spheres but it tells me I am still at 61 out of 80 as these numbers never seem to change.

2. I send in fleets of 1 million power and it gets wrecked alot, what am I doing wrong ??

i'm in the same boat. not sure if its bugged or something, but been doing this for what seems like 50 in-game years.

Well, at the time I wrote the event there was a bug with showing actual variable values in localisation text, so I had to group them into buckets. I'm going to see if this can be changed now with subsequent fixes.

Also, I've made some changes. Now there are chances to destroy four or five spheres per mission. Also, the chance of success will now also increase with the level of your admiral assigned.
