Birth of the United Federation of Planets before Galactic Community
I've got a problem with the birth of the Federation.

By the time United Earth manages to form an alliance with one of the funding Federation member races, the Galactic Community suddenly appears, and they have only one year before it forms.

That doesn't leave much time before the United Federation of Planets becomes a reality, wouldn't you say?

What makes you think United Earth is even required?
UFP can form as long as enough founding-members are allied. They can fill in the ranks with someone else.

In my most recent game UFP was formed by the vulcans, and it took them about 100 years longer than it "should" have. But well. I took Earth as the Son'a anyway, I'm mean like that.

At some point I'll probably be removing the Galactic Community, so that's one problem solved.

Though, not sure why that affects your forming the UFP?
