ST: New Civilizations Immediate Empire Destroyed
Starting a new game with ONLY the ST: New Civilizations mod. Never even get to play one turn. A bug or something I did wrong? I am playing the "United Nations of Earth" empire.

The "United Earth" empire selection works fine. However, it is Pacifist and I did not want that trait.

United Earth is Pacifist by default.

As for why your game immediately ends, are you 100% sure there's no other mod in your playset?

As I wrote on the front page, if you can send a save game from the start of the game, I can take a look and see what's going on.

You can shift your Ethics away from Pacifist extremely easily using the normal vanilla Stellaris method via Factions.

UNE (United Nations of Earth) is not from the mod, it's one of the base game's default civilization options.

I think my UNE empire is the problem. I had this empire created for another Stellaris game and apparently this conflicts with STNC. Thanks to all who replied.
