I did an experiment with old saves. Loading one with your mod and another without your mod.

When playing as Egypt, my army traditions "Veteran Army" no longer provides +xp to new recruits upon recruitment - evident on the fact that the recruitment cards no longer as extra chevrons.

Reloaded without your mod and the extra chevrons came back.

Other mods loaded: Radius Total War, Radius Unit pack 1, Radius Unit Pack 2, Radius Unit Pack 3

Thanks for the report Haldmir.

I have not changed any of the army traditions effects (yet), so I'm unsure what's causing this.

I'll look into the files, but what was the exact name of the army tradition in question? There is no tradition named "Veteran Army" in the DB files.

Actually, I just figured it out (that is if you were actually referring to a tradition named "Battle Hardened.")

The issue was a vanilla one that was fixed by CA in the latest patch. I have not updated the tables yet to reflect those changes, but will do so in time for the next release (v.1.5).

P.S. If you know how to use the PFM and want to change this immediately, just change the "this_army" designation for "army_4_battle_hardened" to "this_force_general" (all 3 levels)

Thank you for pointing this out.

Thanks! I'm not that savvy enough to modify using PFM. I shall wait for your next wonderful release! :)

Okay, so I just turned off everything except TTT and it works!
So clicked Off is:
-Praterion Reskin
-Dresdens Sack & Lib
-Radious AI
-Radious Campaign
-Radious Battle
-Radious Econ and Research

In the /data folder without it showing up in the new Steam Mod Manager is:
-Radious Graphics Mod
-MD_SEEM

Hi Ed,

I'm assuming there wasn't a crash? Just TTT not showing the intended changes?

Also, what is MD_SEEM?

Could you try turning on TTT with everything else except the Praetorian reskin? I'm getting reports that TTT is somehow conflicting for users with some reskin mods, which is totally weird because there is absolutely no overlap.

Thanks,
Hellbent

Now I will turn back on - each of those one at a time and see what happens. I wisht the game loaded faster - lol
Ed (Optio82) 20 Oct, 2013 @ 7:54am
Ok Hellbent will do.

and MD_SEEM is on TWC and is a mod that makes like the onagers and ballista's flame pots like amazing! I really like it. But I just loaded the game with it and Rad's graphics mod and your TTT was there.

And yes - there is no crash - simply no awesome TTT mod shows up on character screen picks.

Ed (Optio82) 20 Oct, 2013 @ 7:59am
That is it! Turned everything else back on in Steam's Mod Manager except Praterion Reskin and TTT is back in game!

Odd though it is conflicting.

Thanks Hell.

No problem Ed. And thanks for bringing this to my attention, I'll have a look at what's causing this "conflict."
Dimasalang  [developer] 20 Oct, 2013 @ 8:03am
Ed, by any chance, did you download the Praetorian reskin from TWC? And was it updated recently?

Another user who reported the same problem was using the Natural Dyes mod from TWC, and it wasn't updated for use with patch 5. I think that is why it's conflicting with TTT. Best to wait till they update their mods.
Ed (Optio82) 20 Oct, 2013 @ 8:16am
The mod creator of Praterion Reskin says:
"10/19 Updated to Patch 5 compatible. Slimmed way down, now more compatible with other mods.

You now have to use the new in game mod manager to activate the mod after you extract it into your rome 2 data folder."
Dimasalang  [developer] 20 Oct, 2013 @ 8:26am
Hm, alright. Thanks again Ed. I'll figure it out eventually.
Ed (Optio82) 20 Oct, 2013 @ 8:47am
Okay found another mod that blocks TTT... it is Kaz's Generals Only skin mod. I loaded it and TTT disappeared.
