* Q: Is this compatible with non-English versions of Rome II?

If you have a non-English version, check the Unit Pack Compatibility (UPC) Project here.[www.twcenter.net]

* Q: Is this compatible with mod XYZ?

A: As of Radious's 11/11/13 update, TTT is no longer compatible with it. It's compatible with other overhaul mods that don't touch traits/skills/ancillaries, and as of this writing, only Radious does.

There are reports that TTT isn't compatible with a few reskin mods, but this seems to be an issue with the mod launcher than anything else because I have not touched anything regarding units and/or skins. Some people report it, some don't. Try it out for yourself and see if it works, let me know if it doesn't.

* Q: Is this mod save-game compatible?

A: Your save game will not crash, but if converting from vanilla (or a previous TTT version with skill changes), your general's vanilla skills that were removed will disappear (obviously) and will not be refunded. Otherwise, it should work and new level ups will give the new skills. But I highly suggest starting a new campaign nonetheless.

* Q: Is this mod compatible with Patch X?

A: It is currently compatible with CA Patch 5.

* Q: I have a different language version of Rome II, what do I do to have the descriptions show?

A: Localization for different languages is not a current priority unfortunately. There is a workaround that can be done by telling Steam to use English. You can find out about it here:(https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=8487-WSCN-4121)

* Q: Rome II UI sucks. How can I see which of your new skills leads to what?

A: I still have not cracked how to change the online encyclopedia (it's a work in progress), but I do have an excel sheet of the current skill trees with their corresponding effects and an image file for easy view. It is accessible online, so what I suggest is to copy it and paste either one in an open browser using Steam overlay (shift-tab while in-game) so you don't have to alt-tab all the time. Links:

* Q: I'm not getting any ancillaries!

A: This mod changes the way ancillaries work. They are more powerful, but they are also harder to get (for those that have been changed). The reasons for this are two-fold: to prevent the spam that occurs in vanilla and to promote an RPG-type of play. Check the ancillary triggers above to make sure that you are doing the right stuff to obtain the ancillaries you want.

* Q: Why are some ancillaries replaced and have great effects while some use vanilla portraits and effects?

A: Because the ancillaries part of this mod is a work in progress. There are over 800 vanilla ancillaries. For every single one, we have to:

1) Create a brand-new portrait
2) Edit the trigger file
3) Revamp the effects
4) Document the changes for your reference.

As such, I ask that you bear with us as we continually update this mod (hopefully weekly) and slowly replace each of the 800 ancillaries. They will eventually all be done, and it will be worth it. Just be patient, please. As of this writing, the barbarian factions are done and Rome will be in the next update.

* Q: What are future plans for this mod?

1) Generals: skills overhaul (done), ancillary overhaul (WIP), traits overhaul
2) Generals: events and quests (e.g. Olympics, Roman Eagles, "legendary" items)
3) Agents: maybe the same overhaul as generals
4) Army/Navy Traditions overhaul
5) Historical Events
6) Historical Characters
7) If/when CA fixes the political system, will see if any changes need doing.
8) Anything immersion-related

* Q: Is there anything I can do to help:

1) Feedback is always and deeply appreciated. I especially need feedback about the way ancillaries fire. Is it too little? Too much? But be sure to check the trigger files (t i n y u r l.com/TTTancillaries) before saying anything.
2) Stories/pictures of your favorite TTT generals/governors. I might even put them up as an official preview for other users!
3) Suggestions and ideas are always definitely welcome. Constructive criticism is appreciated and useful, but simply saying "this thing sucks" or "change this now" is useless. As an example, the governors-gain-experience system was suggested by several users and was implemented because of them.

* It's not working. This sucks.

1) Take a deep breath.
2) Post in the bug report thread.
3) Provide information about any other mods that you're using, and other relevant information.
4) We'll do our best to fix your problems, but we also appreciate patience.

Is this not necessarily now to subscribe and to install this mod if I already subscribed and installed to the features , talents and Toadies: Character : Overhaul ? Skills in xls files are the same.
