While playing at Viirad, special forces often disappeared shortly after training in late game (about 1026-1029). Is there anything in this mod that might cause it, or is it HOI4's own bug? I haven't encountered it in vanilla HOI4, though. I tested that it wasn't due to quantitative constraints by removing all special forces that hadn't disappeared and then I trained new ones who disappeared even though my army was big.

By the way, I like Barrad with its mechanisms and its story, even though the last journal entry says only "Start of the journal".
