Problems getting the mod to work
So, a friend and I wanted to play this in multiplayer, but the problem is my friend is unable to update the mod to the correct version, the version he has is forcing him to play on 1.8.* and my version is forcing me to play on 1.10.* We have tried both un-installing and re-installing the mod about 3-4x each and it has yet to work. We tried to play the mod on different versions, still didn't work.

Anyone can help us?

you do not need to play on a version of the game compatible with the mod as the launcher will tell you. Just download the mod and have your base hoi4 on the latest version. The launcher will say the mod is incompatible with the version of your game but you should just ignore that. Once you launch the game you will see that it works perfectly fine.
