missing the descriptor file?
it won't allow me to turn on the mod because apparently it's missing something called the "descriptor file." Any ideas on why this is?

If you're still having this problem, you're supposed to unsubscribe and subscribe again, to let the game redownload the mod.

this has happend to me but simpling reinstalling/unsuscribe and vice versa doesnt work

You could also try manually downloading mods from sites besides the Steam Workshop. Skymods for example...
