Equestrian resistance storyline
So just almost finished a playthrough of the Equestrian resistance (did have to cheat a little with the war because I had 44 divisions and the ai between them had 300 so I deleted all but one army group and deleted the stockpile while leaving their puppets untouched because that's the only way I've found that I've been able to win on my fourth playthrough without judicious equipment giving and teleporting) I've completed both the first part of the tree and the second electing Prince BlueBlood and I just got a pop up saying this was the end of the beginning is there anything else I'm missing?

I also finished a game with the Resisance front. I had to cheat too since the changelings were too op and equestria had a civil war which cost them 5 million casualties during 4-5years. I elected Starlight and finished the story. I think the end was good and meant to be like this (after all the ponies went through that was enought, i think). unfortunately Griffonia kind of mess up and nothing was happening at all...

They probably gonna add more stuff in the future since it's : "The End of the Beginning" WINK ; )

Yes the Ai get all the divisions you had and if you just delete all your army and wait until (something like 2 month) the resistance spawn. It will make the reconquest easier...

But if you go storywise and form the Manehattan protectorate. The changelings have plenty of time to form a new army.

If you don't want to cheat. Someone in EAW reddit actually won by using the 30 minute of hel strategy against the changelings by building alot of forts around Manehattan and slowly waste the changelings manpowers.

When playing I noticed the return of the princess focus but I never had got the event that I think is supposed to happen. Also I agree, cheating was really the only way to win against the changlings. Perhaps they should release the Manhattan Protectorate before beginning the resistance. That Way the player has some breathing room.
