when i start eaw hoi just starts in vanilla mode
im pretty sure i did everything right because millennium dawn works fine and i did the same exact thing with eaw, im not mixing any other mod just hoi4 with eaw through the workshop, but it will launch vanilla anyways, i read theres not a 1.8 version so i set it to 1.7.1 which doesn't even acknowledge the mod exists, idk what to do now

From another thread, comment made by TheRandomGuy:

"I went into the C/user/My Documents/ Paradox Interactive/Hearts Of Iron 4 file directory

Deleted the "Mods" folder, made a backup before just in case but I don't think it was needed.

Deleted the "Mod Registry.json" file.

Re-launched the game, and mods no longer have the warning flash next to them and can be selected."

i unsubscribed the mod, deleted my mod folder and re subbed and it worked
