It still works:
For everyone saying they can't find the crafting recipe for the soda, restart your entire steam client. This will load up the mod for starbound, and will allow you to craft the sodas

How long does it take from drinking a can of pop and getting the points, whats the ping?

It may take a couple minutes. I find that restarting the steam client again will help update the points. If it doesn't update, that means you hit the maximum amount of points for the day

my soda count in steam is stuck at 164 and i have consumed like 2k of them, still didnt hit the max of the day

Idk, maybe. Hopefully not though. Also how do you check if you maxed out?
