If the dev team is disbanded that means 5.0 doesn't come out...

Kas the ground guy and me left Oct 2023, Luke the audio guy left a few months later, Burnin after some internal drama this past christmas uploaded a test build of 5.0 and in the added drama and the admonishment of the EAW modding community in the aftermath was promptly removed.

The lead dev is still the same that built the mod from the get go and most of the minor help people who mostly all have their own smaller projects or just throw out spare stuff are still there. He's since also gotten a few more people to help him.

Jeroen(the lead dev) has a statement about the state of things in the 5.0 preview channel on the discord.

The team's work on 4.0 was amazing. I was obsessed when I first discovered it. Thank you for whatever role you played in that. I'm quite sad to hear the team didn't work out. I hope you all keep working in this industry because y'all made some fire ♥♥♥♥.

I've read the lead dev's article, but I don't see anything about a date for release unless I'm completely blind. Any ideas? Thanks

There's no dates. No modder works with release dates until like days before release

5.0 is out type remake into search in the workshop for empire at war its there very nice but its the final update also you need the 4.0 versioon to play latest clone wars version

5.0 isnt out. That's a broken test build released by a salty former dev on his way out

My comment is small so I didn't want to open a new thread. One of the pieces of music that plays is BEAUTIFUL, it sounds like all the love themes melded together, and sounds like something that would play as the warm-up to the second act of a John Williams concert, it sounds perfectly John Williams, it sounds like a beautiful pastiche of Star Wars.

I hope the regimental ground combat stays in 5.0 if it was ever tp be released. I actually loved the way ground combat was done in 4.0
