i had same issue, i found something that might help.... so go to " local disk :C / users / user(your username) / Saved games / Petroglyph / EATFOC ...then MAKE sure to delete the saves that are corrupted and keep only 2 or 3 saves. i find this helps.

if you delete the save you wanted by accident go to your trash folder and drag it back in that file/folder.

dont make over three saves, i only do 2 but three may be okay

Also, game crashes during the save if put game on pause. This issue is quite old and it wasn't fix as I know

An issue you might be having is pausing before you save. Dont pause the game, go straight to the menu and save otherwise it corrupts your file.

I'm having the same problem, i tried going straight to the menu and save, even deleting my game saved and creating a new one, just like Awakening of the Rebellion, my game crashes after tech level 2, once my game crashed at tech level 4 while saving.... its been 5 times already, this mod is amazing but this kind of crashings are making it impossible to play.

@JorgePeru23 Im also having crashes when I save after advancing to tech level 2, I cant seem to save at all once the research has completed.

honestly playing the mod for too long is just too much of a hassle. Playing AOTR is much easier, they have simular mechanics, the ISD Model is the same, just the lighting is different and it is MUCH more QUICKLY at SAVING and doesn't crash.
