Tactical Mod Roadmap
The upcoming release (2.8) marks the end of the initial phase of the mod and covers just about every aspect of tactical. For the next few releases here's what to expect:

2.9: Balance and Blueprint tweaks. The goal is to make sure nothing's broken and iron out any weak blueprints that pop up.

3.0: Add Terran blueprints and AI tweaks. Add tech modules to AI blueprints a player might try to sell to an AI that wouldn't otherwise use or research the tech.

3.1: Further adjustments to the Orion Guardian loadout, balance tweaks to AI blueprints, Orion tech loadout adjustments where needed. Pirate blueprints.

3.2: Increase variance between AI race personalities. The goal is to maintain the core of the races' personality but allow them to play and respond differently to make each game more varied.

3.3: Adjust AI blueprints to handle the updated tactical profile logic better and start adding in doomstar blueprints for each race. Probably some more tweaks to the Orion Guardian and Antarans.

3.4: Further tweaking of AI blueprints to better use updated role settings and around the use of missiles and drones. Another pass at monster systems for better progression. Probably some tweaks to PD and possibly missiles and torpedoes. I'd also like to look into how to better balance the early game cannons to missiles prior to missiles getting MIRV.
