TP:ME 11 user interface changes postion on startup
Hi
Since the update to 11 I had some issues with the user interface on my 5K monitor.

My default configuratio nis minimum size, fixed. When starting the game it first just wasn't visible for some reason. So I scaled it to max size and found it started left off-side, outside the visible screen. I then usually just disabled fixed position, moved it, scaled down and fixed it again.

Yesterday I was unable to find the window this way.

I assume it moved even further to the left, so It's still not visible with max windows size.

For a first step with this issue: Is there a way to manually set the interface window position?

The position is stored in the global config file: https://github.com/CitiesSkylinesMods/TMPE/wiki/Global-Configuration#main

Is it the button or the toolbar that's going off-screen?

I have the same problem. Only the toolbar is going off-screen. Also the size changes. Sometimes it's max, sometimes minimum.

Ok, if it's the toolbar then we should have that fixed in upcoming 11.5.0 LABS release - kvakvs has rewritten the entire toolbar code and it's working much more reliably now (with some nice new features too). We're currently testing[github.com] that new code to make sure there's no way to have it go off screen with things like screen resolution changes, scaling changes, etc.

I'll comment here when 11.5.0 is released.

How long will it take to transfer down to the stable release then?

The Button itself stay where I set it to be. The Toolbar always moves off screen, since updating to 11.

Ok thank you @aubergine18. In the meantime for those having this issue: Go to the options menu. Under maintenance reload the global configuration. Do not reset it, just reload. That brings the toolbar back on screen and also fixes the scaling issue.

OK, so the XML shows me the following values:
<MainMenuX>-640</MainMenuX>
<MainMenuY>60</MainMenuY>

I tried changing it to the default values I had on TPME 10
<MainMenuX>85</MainMenuX>
<MainMenuY>60</MainMenuY>

When I ran the game, the issue remained the same. I can't see the menu. So I checked the values after exiting and they where back to the original -640 and 60.

I ran the changed values a few time now and on every start something resets the MainMenuX value to -640.

While testing we found few extra bugs that can make menu go off-screen so we will be fixing those too for the 11.5.0 LABS release.
